The SASS Family Reunion is a four-day
educational symposium offering dozens
of seminars and hands-on training programs
for the Cowboy Action Shooting and Old
West enthusiast. Classes from period clothing,
leather and hats to single action firearms
gunsmithing and care are offered as well
as hands-on training in the Cowboy Action
Shooting Categories with renowned Champions

Smoke in the Valley
SASS International Black Powder Championships
Founders Ranch, New Mexico
This black powder only shooting championship
will mix competition with education on
the firearms, history and shooting techniques
of the age old smoky propellant. Seminars
on reloading, safety and black powder
firearm care and maintenance will be offered.

SASS Convention and Wild West Christmas
Riviera Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada
The SASS Convention is the official annual
gathering of SASS Members and Old West
aficionados. Held in Las Vegas, Nevada
during the National Finals Rodeo Championships,
the SASS Convention offers dozens of educational
seminars and training programs covering
all aspects of Cowboy Action Shooting
and a variety of Old West smithing and

Buffalo Stampede
Founders Ranch, New Mexico
Buffalo Stampede will celebrate America’s
Buffalo as well as honor the Founders
Ranch herd. Yes it will be cold and there
may be snow, so dress warm, pull up a
seat beside the fire and learn about our
American Buffalo. Presentation will include
historic fact and lore about the Buffalo
and the people who used and abused them.
Local Native Americans will be invited
to help teach us about Tatonka.

24th Annual END of TRAIL
The World Championship of Cowboy Action
Shooting
Founders Ranch, New Mexico
The 24th Annual END of TRAIL makes its
New Mexico debut at Founders Ranch, New
Mexico April 28-May 1, 2005. The granddaddy
of all Cowboy Action Shooting events will
be redesigned and given a face lift with
new venue on the World’s premiere
Cowboy Action Shooting range. Educational
seminars, historical reenactments, living
history encampment are a permanent fixture
of this Old West institution. From horseback
to horse shoes, educational opportunities

The Founders Ranch Invitational
Founders Ranch, New Mexico
This annual shoot and dinner reception
is the only private event scheduled. Open
only to Founders Club and SASS Life Members,
the event will feature four days of shooting,
a Friday night bar-b-que and a Saturday
night banquet. The event will serve as
a fundraiser for Founders Ranch as a way
to help continue building our Western
Town and facility and developing the Founders
Club membership. Education programs regarding
the building and preservation of an Old
West Town will be the main focus of this
program.
