30th Annual END of TRAIL
END of TRAIL®, the Single Action Shooting Society’s World Championship of Cowboy Action Shooting™, Cowboy Mounted Shooting™ and the nation’s greatest Wild West Festival will celebrate its 30th Anniversary this year at Founders Ranch. Located just east of Albuquerque, Founders Ranch is a 480 acre World Premiere Cowboy Action Shooting Facility and Old West Town nestled in a gentle valley with breathtaking views and rolling hills in Edgewood, New Mexico.
This year’s event will celebrate The Ghosts of End of Trails Past. In addition to the shooting competition stages, some of the greatest aspects of the last 30 years of END of TRAIL® will be revisited through its entertainment, costume contest and exhibitions, including engagements with some of the nation’s most celebrated Wild West authorities.
Drawing more than 1000 authentically dressed participants from around the world to vie for the World Championship of Cowboy Action Shooting™, END of TRAIL® is a tradition dedicated to preserving the history of the Old West. It is a celebration of the Old West Cowboy lifestyle surrounded by a three day festival open to the public and featuring traditional entertainment and activities for the entire family.
END of TRAIL® is the foremost Cowboy event of the year in the Western United States and is widely regarded as one of the premiere shooting competitions in the world. Having grown into the greatest Western festival in the nation, the event draws thousands of spectators to share in the excitement and experience the living history encampment spread across 100 acres of the pristine ranch.
END of TRAIL® presents an unrivaled shopping experience with close to 100 select vendors showcasing the finest selection of goods including cowboy clothing, art, leather goods, authentic and reproduction firearms, Cowboy accouterments, and Western or nostalgic collectibles, along with many other items.
The Single Action Shooting Society® is proud to announce its continuing partnership with WWPAS, The Wild West Performing Arts Society, and this year’s END of TRAIL® entertainment schedule will be better than ever. Boasting some of the nation’s most notorious comedy gunfight and stunt show stars, WWPAS delivers a Wild West Show to rival that of Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show of the late 1800’s. END of TRAIL® serves up a full schedule of continuous live entertainment featuring traditional performances from the most popular Western entertainers in the country.
Public admission dates are June 24-26th, from 8am to 5pm; costs are $8 per person, children 12 and under are admitted free of charge. $2 per vehicle parking fee.
