Applications for the 2012-2013 academic year are
available beginning November 1, 2011. The deadline
to submit an application is March 16, 2012. Scholarships will be awarded through
the recipient's college or educational institution
of record. All applicants will be informed of a decision in writing by May 18, 2012. Awards will be announced at END of TRAIL at Opening Ceremonies,
June 2012.

Eligible applicants must prior to the application deadline:

 A
completed original of the official SASS
Scholarship Foundation application;
- An official high school or college transcript
of grades;
- A 500 word essay as outlined in application;
- Five signed recommendations
from active SASS members as outlined in
the application.
- A personal Statement of Goals and Achievements.
- Applicant's photograph in full cowboy
attire with SASS Badge visible.
When do I Apply?
Applications will be available by
written request beginning November 1, 2011.
Completed application deadline is March 16,

How do I Apply?
Applicant must request an official SASS Scholarship
Foundation application in writing from the SASS Office; E-mail requests will be accepted.
The letter needs to include where you are in your
education, i.e. High School or College, mailing address,
phone, e-mail, SASS number and alias.
When will I know if I will be Awarded?
All applicants will of a decision in writing by May 18, 2012. Awards will be announced at END of TRAIL at Opening Ceremonies,
June 2012 will be mailed one week prior to END of TRAIL
2012. Official announcements will be made during
opening ceremonies at END of TRAIL and in the
August issue of The Cowboy Chronicle.
