The SASS Scholarship Foundation made its first grants
at END of TRAIL 2000. Since then, the foundation
has awarded 169 grants totaling $320,000.
The monies raised for the foundation came from
contributions by you the members. Through the
generous efforts of many clubs and individuals,
the SASS Scholarship Foundation has grown strong
and is now capable of handling more than the
funds requested.
Whether its $5 donated from your renewal submissions
to thousands of dollars from club across the
nation, it all adds up. Many individuals to
numerous to mention have made contributions.
On behalf of SASS and the many members who
are able to use these grants to further their
education, thank you the members for supporting
this worthwhile cause.
