2009 SASS Scholarship Raffle
The 2009 SASS Scholarship Foundation Raffle includes a Taylor's and Company 1892 Take-down Rifle, The rifle is presented in 45-caliber with a Nickel Receiver that is Hand Engraved with Gold Inlays, Deluxe Walnut Stock and Crescent Butt Plate. The raffle will also include a Leg-o-Mutton Case that will be described when we receive it.
Tickets for the raffle are available on-line in the SASS Mercantile and are $20.00 for 5 tickets. The drawing will be held at the 8th Annual SASS Convention in Las Vegas, NV on December 5, 2009. Click on the image below to purchase tickets on-line.
2008 SASS Scholarship Raffle
The SASS Scholarship Foundation announced in December 2007 there would be an annual SASS Scholarship Raffle with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting the SASS Scholarship Foundation. The Foundation was created to provide scholarships to deserving SASS members pursuing higher education.
This first raffle was for a Bob Munden Premier Colt Single Action Revolver and Kirkpatrick Leather Holster Rig. The revolver is a 45-caliber colt with nickel screws, “Custom by Bob Munden” engraved on the barrel, Colt walnut grips with gold Colt Medallions. The Holster Rig is a Kirkpatrick Long Hunter “B” Western Rig that is hand tooled with studs and a custom buckle. It is done in mahogany with hand painted black inlay. This total package retails for $3850.00.
The winner of this gun and rig was drawn Saturday Night, December 6, 2008 at the SASS Convention. The winner is Anthony James Damico, SASS# 63301, "Bad Guy" of Prescott Arizona. Congratulations “Bad Guy.”
