	Shooting EVENTS

Monthly Matches
A monthly match is a regularly scheduled match or matches held every month. Every SASS Affiliated club conducts its matches in compliance with the SASS Shooters or SASS Mounted Shooters Handbook. They are open to all interested parties.

Annual Matches
Most SASS Affiliated Clubs hold annual matches of multiple days. Many include entertainment, social activities and special events. SASS Clubs conduct their matches in accordance with the current SASS Shooters and SASS Mounted Shooters Handbook.

SASS State Championships
SASS Sanctioned State Championships are part of the SASS National Shooting Program. Winners of these matches advance to the SASS Regionals. All are annual multi-day events with entertainment, social activities and special events not to be missed.

SASS Blackpowder Shootouts
SASS Sanctioned State Blackpowder and Territorial Blackpowder Shootouts are dedicated to the competitors from the “Dark Side”, or those that compete using “Blackpowder.” All are annual events with social activities and special awards and winner pins from SASS.

SASS Regionals
These four day matches support up to 300 or more shooters, are located near hotels and services, and will provide camping to any who wish to partake. These events will also support up to 50 or more vendors who provide a wide variety of products, services and prizes.

SASS National Championship: "Winter Range"
Winter Range is the Single Action Shooting Society's National Championship Of Cowboy Action Shooting, Encampment And Frontier Exhibition. The event is held annually at the Ben Avery Shooting Range north of Phoenix, Arizona and regularly has more than 600 competitors vying for the SASS National Championship.

SASS World Championship: "END of TRAIL"
END of TRAIL is the Granddaddy of ‘em all. The World Championship of Cowboy Action Shooting & Wild West Jubilee takes place at SASS’ Founders Ranch in New Mexico and is a five day event with hundreds of vendors and continuous entertainment and social activities.

Founders Ranch Events
New Mexico is home to the Single Action Shooting Society’s World Premiere Cowboy Action Shooting Range known as Founders Ranch. A rustic 480-acre ranch in the rolling hills 20 miles east of Albuquerque, SASS conducts some of its biggest events as well as educational programs and the filming of its Outdoor Life Network Television Series, Cowboy Action Shooter.
