Tomorrow will be last call for Winter Range delivery.
  2. Uberti Taylors & Co Cattleman Black Powder Revolver

We know for sure it is not allowed in Frontiersman category. Some have posted opinions that it is legal in other categories, I don't know for sure, buyer will need to investigate the legality if planning on using in SASS sanctioned matches.

  4. FREE hazmat shipping Feb 05 only

No, you did good George! They have other primers and powder available. Just letting pards know if they are wanting Fed small primers no use looking at Powder Valley.
  5. FREE hazmat shipping Feb 05 only

Would be great if they actually had any Federal small pistol primers....
  6. 1873 flat stock vs pistol grip stock?

I have one of each. Like the pistol grip look the best. As others have noted once the timer goes off I can't tell any difference.
  7. .38 Special Handloads

Howdy Doggone and welcome! Laser cast are good bullets but as noted above a little on the expensive side. Google is your friend and you can find more economical bullets for sale. There are a lot of cowboy shooters that also have a side business selling bullets, they are usually quite reasonable. As for the brass I HIGHLY recommend staying with the standard 38 brass. As you attend shoots you will always get a few brass from other shooters mixed in with yours and yours with theirs. Uniform length cases going through a reloader always works the best. If you make it up to my area please contact me and we'll shoot a match or two. muck

  11. Confessions of a reloader

No, never even heard of North 40 before. There is a annual shoot 4 1/2 hrs away that takes place in May and there is a store in that town that always has Fed primers so I stock up then. I asked the owner why he always has Fed primers and none of the stores in my area do and he said "They don't try hard enough"
  12. Confessions of a reloader

9000 Fed and I'm getting mighty nervous, can't find them in my area.....

  15. Invisible "members"?

Lunger is a SASS member that is always first to help new shooters with tips on how to improve their game and gear. At annual matches when he is dog tired you'll still see him working on shooters guns (free) helping them to the last minute. He is a advanced shooter that will help new and old shooters alike. He has helped me immensely. He also is not a braggart so I'm surprised this thread has got as much out of him as it did. Paying for a clubs SASS membership dues himself is just another thing he has unselfishly done to promote SASS. We'er not talking who is the better MAN here but who is the better SASS member to help this sport flourish....I know my pick.
