    SASS Legal Long Guns???

Sorry, must have misunderstood your question.. I was answering this.. "I know that a list probably exists somewhere of typical SASS legal long guns but I just can't seem to find it." My answer and reference to the Shooters handbook is the answer to your question... Mink.........

Short two question poll regarding 1897 shotguns

I too think choke tubes are not needed in CAS.. Only .035 difference in all of them.. Unless you are a pro trap/skeet shooter, don't think steel KD's and the occasional "pop ups" will know the difference...

    Value of Black Diamond 97

Appears to be a "D" model, possibly a "C" ..... Around here, it would probably bring somewhere in the neighborhood of $350. if it functions as it should. Don't see much additional value even being more than a "field" grade in that condition ?? Check places like "Gunbroker" for realistic selling price........

    Marlin Owners Beware

I may be out of line and/or have no dog in this fight.... But.... I don't think it's right or fair to condemn and chastise a parts manufacturer and distributor for a problem that may or may not be their fault...... Seems to me that if there were a problem with the triggers, we would have heard about them by now ?? In all fairness, you should have someone else check it for you.. The notation on the trigger packaging states, "This product should be installed by a competent gunsmith".
