    CAS with BB guns

I have a pair of the Colt Peacemaker look alikes. I had Claire get me one for Christmas, and the lady at Big5 asked if she wanted BB's & CO2, she said "No he will put his Eye out" I naver laughed so hard when she told me that. The second one she bought for my 60th Birthday. They are the plated copies with plastic grips which look like ivory. and they are 7 1/2 in barrel length. and they look good in the holsters. I have not seen the rifle yet.

    MREs

I forgot about campers and other folks using MRE'S, Thanks for reminding me of the civilian uses for MRE'S.

    MREs

Maybe it just a sign of the times, But it seems that the last two Gun Shows I attended there was at least one vendor selling MRE'S! Are people buying them for "just in case" ? Has anyone else noticed this?

    On the Role of Dogs

My Dog has kept me from going insane these last 11 months since my Claire (Mean Ol Lady sass#71247) passed away. I feel that dogs know more than they let on about. I was kind of depressed about some news I got Tuesday morning, and Juliet(my dog) Gave me a look as if to say "what's wrong?" She made me feel better. I really do not know where I might be with out her.

Twilight Zone: A Western episode with...

Unless My eyes deceive me (possible) Lee Van Cleef still had all his finger tips in this one. Must have lost it after this Ep. Good Show All Around.

want to trade a 1894c Marlin Carbine for a Rossi 92 Carbine

I did not post photos, those are a glitz that came up as I was composing my post. It is a round barrel, I do not have photos to post yet. And you most likely right that it is a 94, I have to look in the safe. I will post the first two numbers tonight or tomorrow.
  8. I have a 1894c Marlin 38spl/357 Carbine I want to trade for a 92 Rossi 38spl/357 Carbine. I want to do this trade with a N.California Pard. The Marlin has a "JM" stamp on the barrel and has not had more than 200 rounds thru it(might be less) I am not fond of the weight compared to the Rossi. I bought it in the early 2000's at a local Big 5. The Marlin is a good gun, I just want to get a second Rossi. As I said, I only want to deal with a N.California Pard to save on having to ship it somewhere. I rather do the transaction in a local gun shop and pay the fee for a transfer. No cash otherwise, straight across trade. Any takers?

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (spoiler alert!)

I went and watched "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs" on Netflix(my son put me on his subscription) and I thought it was good. The Gun handling was very good. Buster Scruggs had be laughing! Talk about B Western costumes! And the guy that shot Buster, He was fancy! A good movie over all.
