I got a notice from Midway that APP has been discontinued. Say it ain't so!
-
No. I have too much work to do here in southern Nevada.

I don't shoot it enough to order a case. I have fun a couple of times a year when I shoot Black Powder B-Western (Like it should be). I have yet to see a B-Western movie without smokin barrels!

Not if the first revolver is still loaded and in hand.
-
The reference is - TWO REVOLVERS IN HAND. The shooter has until the FIRST revolver is cocked to correct the situation. Once one revolver is cocked the shooter cannot have two in hand. (Assuming the shooter is shooting other than gunfighter style) Look to the shooters manual to reference when a revolver can safely leave a shooters hand. This applies to all styles of shooting. When shooting revolvers, Shooters may safely ground a revolver at any time. Any style of shooting allows for safely holstering a revolver (except gunfighter style) at any time during the string. Revolvers are only required to be holstered prior to the next firearm being used.

Several things can cause a double not to open easily. Chambers dirty or damaged. Extractor retaining screw too tight or extractor bent. Firing pins mushroomed or otherwise dragging on the primer. Kick-eez recoil pad.
-
Each bullet coming out of the barrel has an assigned target in this scenario. The miss (eighth shot) was assigned to the center target in the second group of targets. The ninth and tenth round must go on the last target.

Best Rifle for B-Western that's NOT a Marlin
Ace_of_Hearts replied to Jonny Gringo, SASS #107980's topic in SASS Wire
Remember that, just because your dress may be B-Western type, you are not restricted from shooting all the age based Categories. -
Original loading area = coat pocket = legally carried to the line and legal for reuse. Coat placed on the prop = safely placed onto a prop = legal for reuse. Unless muzzle control was not maintained = no call. This portion of the rule applied only "on the clock". IMO If a shooter bring ammo to the line legally, he/she cannot stage it anywhere they choose prior to the stage beginning. Once on the clock the shooter may stage ammo anywhere they choose and then recover it safely without penalty.
-
Ammunition required for loading/reloading during the course of any stage must be carried on the shooter’s person, in a bandoleer, cartridge/shot shell belt loop, pouch, holster, pocket, or be safely staged as required by stage instructions.

It's the first of February and we are already 50% ahead of out registrations from last year. This shoot is limited to 100 shooters and the open slots are dwindling quickly. Get you applications in the mail soon!!

Johnson's paste wax.

Short stroke kits, firing pins, etc all require fitting to the gun for proper operation.

Alright. I have been besieged by individuals who want finished stocks for their beloved guns, because they don't have the skills or the want to to fit the stock to the steel. After I get my shop moved (Hopefully by July) I will begin making completed buttstocks for $250.00 and fore stocks for $150.00. 90% inletted are $150.00 and $75.00 respectively. Recoil pads will be $25.00 +pad if done at the same time as the stock.
-
That is why we have a new approach. The piece was extremely small and our new process works on pieces twice that size and larger very well. A replacement would run you $75.00 + shipping.
-
Send me the fore-end and I will repair it at no charge. I have a new process that reinforces the joint.

If you are looking for a reason to not go to a shoot, you will surely find it. Dismissing all the shoots in California because of some law that apply to California residents only and because you MAY get stopped by the locals and asked questions you are not required to answer, will put you in the position of missing out on meeting some of the nicest people in Cowboy Action Shooting. That's OK with me if that is what you want to do. I will keep traveling across the border and enjoying friends (and girlfriends) I would have never had, had it not been for this sport.
