    Short stroking Henry 22

I can honestly say that the money that we spent on our Henry Golden boy having Widder do his magic on it is the biggest bang for the buck that I have ever spent on any fire arm in my life. I cannot say enough good things about what he does. And he is one of the nicest people I have ever met in cowboy action shooting. Start stocking up on ammo your going to need it!

    Sure Hit Sights

Make sure that the front sight blade is cleaned properly, clean the new shire hit sight properly. Use good epoxy and tape or clamp in place. Let dry overnight before final fitting. Enjoy

    Primer explosion

You are completely safe to use a shop vac type of vacuum to suck up primers. The items that go up the hose never go through a beater bar or any type of mechanical apparatus that would cause the primer to detonate. I would suggest that you clean up then empty the shop vac do not leave primer powders or any reloading residue in the shop vac. I do it all the time and have never had a problem. As far as using the shop vac to clean up gun powder. I am referring to very minimal amounts that sometimes get spilled on the bench or floor. You do have static discharge at times with a shop vac. But that usually comes from vacuuming up in large quantities of material that are of a dry fibrous content. Again just empty the shop vac as soon as you are done and you will be fine.

    SASS Flag

I’m not sure if you could have them produced on your own. I’ll bet that the artwork is copyrighted by sass and you would have to have their permission.

    Would you shoot this match?

My bad everyone. Just trying to have a little fun on the wire. But seriously we would love to have everybody come to Colorado at least once in their life. Some of us are just lucky enough to get to live here! And yes again count me in can’t wait sounds like a lot of fun !

    Would you shoot this match?

Yes it’s exactly 346 miles from Lebanon Kansas which is the true geographical center point of the lower 48 states in the United States. Or really -we might be able to shoot it at that range?

    Would you shoot this match?

Count me in. I bet we could talk the Bridgsdale County shootist into using there range. Colorado is pretty central and would make it easy for everyone to get there. Just sayin!

    Would you shoot this match?

OK it’s been asked by multiple people multiple times but it hasn’t been answered yet! Where and when???

    Just my opinion...

Like my grandfather used to say. Some people will complain even if you hang in with the new rope.

Because this is a cowboy action shooting website. And we are talking pocket pistols. We need to remember that most pocket pistols are a top break action. And shooting factory 38 Smith & Wesson may be a bad option. Most of the factory 38 Smith & Wesson is too hot of a load for top break actions. That’s why it is important to either purchase cowboy loads or reload your self. Just a word of advice.

You Are correct. The 38 Smith & Wesson is a larger diameter case

I load a coated 125 gr tcfp .358 bullet from Chey cast Bullets, with a magnum primer and 2.2 grains of unique powder. I shoot it in a Iver Johnson top break. Runs great. Very mild recoil. Makes keeping the front site on target a breeze.

    Polymer Coated Bullets

I have been using Chey cast bullets for the last 1 1/2 years. I have been completely satisfied with their products. And customer service is always great. And yes you have no more lead cleaning problems. Give them a try. OCM

    Widder Magic .22

What a lucky young man. I love seeing parents invest in a child’s future. This could be the one thing that you both share for a life time. Congratulations
