DWs are very well made 1911s. No MIM parts, like some other manufacturers use, if that matters to you.

I got to spend some time at a local range with one recently and it had a magnificent trigger and shot very very well.

The bobbed hand grip certainly allows the gun to be concealed under shirt a little better than the sharp angle of a normal 1911's grip with much less printing.

Bump for a great 1911!

Doc,

what year is the gun? Approximately how many rounds? Are the sights night sights (kind of sights)?

thanks,

Blind Eye

I'll check the serial # to see about the date. Not exactly sure when I bought it, 6-8 ? Years ago. It probably has not had more than 400 rounds through it.

Not sure about the sights. I can send more pics.

Commander is 4 1/4" barrel as opposed to 5".

I can't believe this thing is still for sale.

Howdy,

Is this a lightweight or steel?

About what does it weigh?

Measure from the front of the ej port to end of barrel, how long?

I think its not eligible for SASS and that is what folks look for here.

I think that's commander length 4.5 inch not 5.

Maybe pm me your phone number.  Its interesting but with good

1911 clones going for half that money its a hard sell.

I checked gb and they have page after page of Dan Wesson and even

more s&w 1911 etc.

Its too bad Wild Bunch is so restrictive on what is acceptable for their game.

With that name one would GUESS almost any 1911 in 45 would be fine.

But NOOOOOOOOO.

Best

CR

This would be a very nice concealed carry piece for those who carry a 1911.
