Only one of the cowpeople I've questioned over 25 years (and I don't do it often) has considered it a burden.   Sharing with others is the Cowboy Way.  It's one of the reasons we have the SASS wire.  Just my opinion.

There's a big difference between asking questions (we all do that), and having the attitude that the rule book is "Crap" and not worthy of reading...or at least not worth reading since it used to fit in one's shirt pocket.

 

Each of us should take a little time to understand the rules. That means both reading the dang handbook AND asking questions.

The "Rules Clarifications Archives" have been updated to the current SHB V.22.3 "Penalties Overview" ; as well as the rule refs in the "Reload Choices" doc.

     I thought there was a code:

              I won't be wronged. (except by all the blind spotters)

              I won't be insulted. (Only when I miss half  the pistol targets)

              and I won't be laid a-hands on.(at least, in my case, she buys me a drink)

      And of course the grand Rule;

               Don't  do or say anything you wouldn't  do or say in front of your Mother.

The SHB includes a "Glossary of Terms" (i.e. definitions) in Section 9 (pp. 43-45)
