NJ’s ‘High Capacity’ Magazine Ban Endangers Officers

Recommended Posts

It looks like NJ Police officers are going to have to leave their magazines at work.

Or they can do what the rest of NJ residents are doing and ignore the law.

Well, if they are banned for normal people, I have no objection to them being banned for cops. How about a blue flu? I don't approve of special cutouts for lawmen where weapons are concerned. If it's legal for cops to have fully automatic weapons, then it should be legal for all. The yardbirds will have whatever they want as only law-abiding folks follow all these silly ___ laws.

I have been reading quite a bit about that NJ issue. Second City Cop blog (Chicago PD) has posters predicting something equally silly will come to Illinois with the new Governor. And that the new Attorney General-elect likes the NJ law. Looks like a challenging time is coming to Illinois gun owners.
