Yuma, Is It A Mudhole Or Not?

Recommended Posts

Are any of you Wire pards set up at the range for the Territorial Prison Break Match? If so is there any camping that’s not a mudhole? Thanks for your help.

I just talked to Cotton and the range is really muddy and the only camping will be along the sides of the road coming into the range. The center camping area is really, really muddy and from my past experience not usable for camping.

I just talked to Ligurta Station RV park in Wellton about 35 east of Yuma and they have RV and camper spaces available. That’s where a bunch of us are going to stay now.

In years past when it has rained and the camping area in a mudhole, we camped near the ball diamond. It is across from the rc airplane area by the big bridge.

No need he's staying at a motel 6 they come with all that stuff. That's why they leave the light on even while your attempting to sleep.

From what I'm reading maybe We need to load up the flat bottom and trolling motor in the truck instead of the gun carts??

3 foot deep is a major lake in southern New Mexico

PS.... Is it stocked yet?

I put  mud tires on my gun cart just in case.

Here in Arizona it's a dry mud.

$3.99 is for the door with a busted lock and pry-bar marks.

Yep they had to remove the front doors because there was too much damage being done to them.

Camped at the range, made it in yesterday afternoon. It's gonna be a great shoot, clear skies and the sunrise is a comin!

It has dried out well, plenty of dry camping on the west end. :)

Yeee Haaa!

Beautiful and sunny today with a light breeze. Started out with temperatures in the 50s and got all the way up to 69°.

Stages look good and it's going to be a great match with 180 shooters.
