Who does plating?

Recommended Posts

Got a pair of Uberti 1860 Army revolvers a few years back and the nickel plated back straps and trigger guard look great but are starting to show wear.  Who can strip and re-plate them for a reasonable price?

I asked the same question here on the Wire a few months back and Slick McClade and a few other folks

recommended Bob Cogan at APW Cogan... https://www.apwcogan.com/

I sent Bob my old USFA Rodeos, the nickel was badly worn.

They stripped off the nickel and re-did em in Hard Chrome...

I think they look Purdy Nice :D

my cousin is a chef and he does the plating in his restaurant--doesn't trust the wait-staff

Mahovskey's Metalife did a cylinder for my S&W 19-4 and it matches the gun perfectly. No problems since. No complaints on cost.

Thanks, folks.  That's what I was looking for.
