That's cheap.

 

The Balvinie, 50-year-old single malt scotch, is the most expensive whisky in the world.

 

Average US price - $37,149. Buy it there and save eleven hunnerd and fifty dollars.

I’m thinking it’s pretty good scotch, I just finished a bottle or their 21 year that I got for Xmas 2 years ago. Good stuff hated to see it go.

Not the kind of thing duty free would carry.

 

the economics of Duty Free, are basically volume, volume, volume. And the pricing is just a little below the local market price. Thus the DF shop can pay the rent for its space in a major airport.  Booze and smokes in NH are usually cheaper than DF, even though the duties are paid.
